HP has a netbook in their range that’s more of a fashion accessory than a netbook (HP even advertises it as ‘the perfect fashion accessory’). It’s the HP Mini 1140 Netbook – Vivienne Tam Edition.

- The vibrant peony blooms on the cover and sides signify good fortune and prosperity.
- Ships with an enclosed silk cover.
- Less than 1 inch thick and weighs 2.45 pounds.
- 1.6 Ghz intel Atom Processor, 1 GB RAM, 60 GB Hard Drive, XP Home.
- It comes with a 3 cell battery which is too bad as it will restrict battery life.
- It really is stunningly beautiful -

- Power + Performance – B. The specs don’t really match the price. However, they are serviceable.
- Looks – A+. It really is the best looking netbook you can get (in my opinion).
- Portability – B+. The 3 cell battery just doesn’t cut it. Which negates the 1 inch thin, light weight netbook.
- Price – B. Not a good price point at all.
- Usability – B+. Its a good computer with the 92% keyboard helping.
Overall Vivienne Tam Netbook rating – B+. Highly Recommended if you have the money for an expensive fashion accessory. Otherwise think twice or thrice.

I just got this netbook in and I absolutely love it! It serves it’s basic functions, emailing, surfing the net, word processing, etc…but I really got it because it is completely gorgeous! It definitely stands out in a crowd. I love it. And I paid the full $699 for it but I think it’s well worth it if you like be stylish as well. In addition, I ordered the matching mouse. I cannot wait to get it! Fun, fun.
