Velocity Micro Cruz Tablet Available for Pre-Order in the US

The Velocity Micro Cruz Tablet has gone up for pre-order at Borders for $300. Why Borders? Well, they’ve teamed up with the tablet company so we can download their ebooks straight into the machine. They do have a dedicated eReader which sells for $200. Launch date for the eReader is September 30, while the full tablet comes out on October 15.

Google Android 2.1

512MB RAM

4GB internal storage

802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi

720p playback support, accelerometer

mini USB and SD card slots

10 hour battery

No mention of the processor but I don’t think it will be an Intel Atom. Head on over to Borders for the product page.
