Valentino Rossi inspired Packard Bell netbook
Question: How does a smaller player like Packard Bell enter the netbook with a big bang with a (this is 100% unresearched speculation) mediocre netbook?
Answer: Give it a designer lid inspired by some famous celeb, ooh Italians are known for fashion aren’t they! How about Italian motorcycle racer Valentino Rossi!
Scorn aside, the netbook lid actually looks amazing!Proof below. I wish it didn’t say “4G” and have that gray strip in top right corner though. Design is by Aldo Druids, Valentino Rossi’s designer.

The netbook, by the way, is part of the Packard Bell dot series in case you were wondering (Dot VR460). The gray strip reminds me of the Gateway LT series, which in turn is based on sister-company Acer’s line of netbooks.
No details of specs, pricing or availability. You can learn more about the Dot line of netbooks at the Packard Bell website.
