Updates on the 11.6″ Acer Aspire 1410

Acer Aspire 1410

There’s been a lot (okay, a couple) of activity from Acer out there in Japan as the 11.6″ Acer Aspire 1410 Olympic Edition has gone official, and the 11.6″ Acer Ferrari One 200 has been annouced, in the country.

The limited edition Olympic Edition 1410 will go on sale on the 27th for ¥79,800, and will only have 1,500 models (at least in Japan). It has the same specs as the normal Acer Aspire 1410 with 1.4GHz Intel SU2300 (or is it Celeron?), 2GB RAM, and 250GB HDD except for the Olympic brand.

The 11.6″ Acer Ferrari One 200 on the other hand, will also come out on the 27th (in Japan) for ¥72,800. It’s also based on the Acer Aspire 1410 except with a Ferrari branding and a 1.2GHz AMD Athlon L310 processor and ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics.

If you’re NOT from or in Japan, and the added branding, Olympic, Ferrari or otherwise, does not interest you, the Acer Aspire 1410 (without the added bling) is a very good deal on its own. You can take my word for it and head on over to Amazon to get your own, or read our review from here if you need further convincing ;)
