UPDATE: Benchmarking ION2 on Acer Aspire One 532G
NetbookNews has posted a video on the test that was ran on the Acer Aspire One 532G with ION2 graphics where it scored poorly against a Samsung N150 with ION LE.
TG Daily has received a response from a Nvidia spokesperson:
“I can’t vouch for the accuracy of the benchmark that was performed at that show. I believe the units there were pre-release systems. We haven’t provided performance data yet for the public, we’ll have more details coming in early March.”
Kind of makes sense in the same way that hotels or resorts have soft openings, so that glitches are found and fixed before the actual opening. Was the system in the 532G glitched or something? Now, which one should we watch: the Acer Aspire One 532G or the Nvidia Ion2?
As the Nvidia spokesperson pointed out, “more details coming in early March”.
