There are tons of upcoming netbook launches as the holidays are slowly creeping on us.
Wouldn’t it be helpful to have a list of all the netbook release dates? You could decide which netbook you want to buy in advance, and it will help you plan out how much to save for that special netbook for that special someone (this definitely includes you too!)
Note: this list represents all non-Windows 7 netbooks. Refer to our list of Windows 7 Netbooks if you want the latest and the bestest.
October Netbook Releases
- HP Mini 311 – 12″ netbook with nVidia Ion on Windows XP, affordable – $400, read our review
- Dell Mini 10v Nickelodeon Edition - Slime white and green version of the Dell Mini 10v for the kids – $330, read our review
- Acer Ferrari One – 11.6″ netbook due out October 22 like Windows 7, comes with AMD Congo platform (dual core Athlon processor + Radeon 3200graphics!), no word on price read our review
- Nokia Booklet 3G – promises to be the (best looking) ultimate portable cloud computing device with 12 hrs of battery and built in 3G. Essentially, it’s a 10″ netbook - $600, read our review
- Telsda Twistble Tablet - the cheapest twist ‘n tablet, available online in China – $300, read our review
- Intel Atom PineView, N450 processor (delayed to Q1 2010)
- Windows 7 (October 22), read about it here. Pre-order the Home Edition. Read this if you’re a student.
- Acer’s Android Netbook (delayed)
November Netbook Release Schedule
- Sony Vaio X – 11″ ‘netbook,’ 2.0 GHz ‘Z’ processor, 2 GB RAM, 128 SSD – the most amazing specs but at a very hefty cost – $1300, read our review (Available around November 20)
- ECS T800 – Cheaper Android version of Vaio P, read our review
- PixelQi 3Qi Screens – Power efficient screens which work outdoors, read our review
- Samsung N140 – will ship with Windows 7 starter edition, similar to the NC10 but with a better looks exterior $400, read out review
- Samsung N510 – the infamous 11.6″ NVidia Ion bearing netbook that keeps us salivating but waiting, read more
- Samsung Go 310 – 3G wireless & Windows 7 Starter edition version of the Samsung Go 310, the gorgeous looking pebble netbook, read our review
No dates announced, but they’re coming:
- TechCrunch CrunchPad – touch screen tablet-esque device, $300, read more
- Archos 9″ PCtablet – touch screen, keyboard-less device like the Crunch Pad. lightweight, TV-friendly, comes with Windows 7.
