Upcoming Netbooks at Computex
Posted on May 16th, 2010 by Nidhi
The 30th Computex takes place at Taipei, Taiwan from June 1 – 5, 2010. Here’s some netbooks/tablets we can expect to see or that we’re plain hoping we’ll see. And nope, I’m not going to distinguish between the two ;)
- MSI Wind Slatebook – 10″ atom running iPad, oops, I mean tablet running Windows 7. Word is it’ll come with 3G, Wifi and will have eReader capabilities.
- MSI Wind WiMax U130 and U140
- Asus Eee Pad – A launch date around end of July, prices in the upper $400s… USB port, works with Adobe Flash.. for more, stay tuned to next month!
- Acer Chrome OS netbook – Rumor? Perhaps. But computex will be the perfect time for Acer to launch this device, and we’ve heard it was planning for a mid 2010 appearance anyway.
- Ultra thin, really ultra-thin, stuff from Intel
Hmm short list eh? Let’s see what else gets unveiled in the next three weeks.
