Unofficial: T-Mobile to offer new Dell Mini 10!
The gorgeous new Dell Mini 10 netbooks should be rolling out end of March and they just might be coming out subsidized a la T-Mobile! This will be the only netbook offered by T-Mobile – and a great choice too! A subsidized 3G capable Dell Mini 10? What a great way to start 2010!
I’m not familiar with T-Mobile’s 3G network availability. Let’s hope it’s better than AT&T – a possibility since they don’t have millions of iPhones clogging up their airwaves. Their internet plans don’t look bad at all. Sure you need a 2 year contract, and then $30 will get you 200MB/month, $40 will get you unlimited data and email/month (yep, something seems wrong with the $40 plan) and $60 will get you 5GB data/month. (The 200MB plan is $5/month cheaper than AT&T, while the 5GB plan is priced the same at $60).
The new Dell Mini 10 has undergone quite a re-design with it’s lid attached the netbook in a different way. It comes with the latest specs – Intel’s N450 processor, Windows 7 Starter, 250GB HD, optional 1366 x 768 resolution, and if you get the hi cap battery 9 hours of juice.
