In other Toshiba news, the Toshiba NB255 has also been given the geen light by the company. The NB255 is actually just a black version of the NB305 with an upgraded Intel Atom N455 processor which makes it DDR3 compatible as well as a different chassis.

It will be available, along with the upgraded Toshiba NB305 which also gets a better processor, on the 20th of June. Good news is that there’s an imminent price drop. The NB255 will be available for $299, while the new NB305 (with an Intel Atom N450) will cost $379.

Pretty good deal because the non-DDR3 models cost about $340 right now. The Toshiba Mini NB305 (Royal Blue) is available from Amazon for $339.95. Original price is $399.99.
