TimesPad Notebook Gets N550 Processor

Aside from Asus and their Eee PC 1015PEM, a Chinese netbook manufacturer is taking the lead in putting an Intel Atom N550 dual core processor into the machines.
You can get a TimesPad laptop with either a single core Atom N455 or N475 chip, or with a dual core N550 processor. It also comes with the following specs:
- NVIDIA ION graphics
- 2GB DDR3 RAM
- 320GB HDD
- 11.6″ 1366 x 768 pixel display
- 802.11b/g/n WiFi
- 3 USB 2.0 ports, VGA and HDMI output
If you’re a distributor, you can order from Alibaba.com for $325 to $365 per unit for a minimum order of 500 units.
