Asus N10 Review

Is it a netbook or a notebook?

The little Asus N10J-A210.2-inch screen says it’s a netbook, and it’s almost as powerful as a notebook. Equipped with a 1.6Ghz Intel Atom N270 Processor, with 2GB RAM and a 320GB HD… this is one heck of a netbook. It also comes with a 256 MB graphics card from Nvidia. It has also dropped the Eee moniker and simply goes by the N10 designation.

Considered more powerful than the Asus 1000H series, the N10 can handle multi-tasking very well. You can listen to music while surfing or working on document. It comes with Windows Vista, but can be downgraded to XP since it comes with a Vista Business+XP Downgrade CD from Amazon.

So far, Amazon users have been divided in reviewing this little baby, but most of them are happy with its performance. It’s fast, does most everything you need a netbook (or a notebook) to do (even games) and it doesn’t look shabby either. Its specifically designated as a gaming netbook, and do take a look at the N10 reviews to get an idea of what games it can play.

What it does come with are a 1.3-megapixel webcam, 802.11a/b/g/n wireless card reader, and fingerprint reader. It sells for $763.96 at Amazon.
