Tablets Around the World: Chile T7-3G

Chile T7-3GChile has introduced a new 7″ Android tablet in China. If that confused you, don’t worry. It also got me disoriented for a bit. Chile, as in the company, introduced the Chile T7-3G which features a 7″, 800 x 600 pixel display, a 720MHz ARM11 processor and Google Android 2.1.

Now before you dismiss it as another wannabe in the tablet market, this little toy supports HD video playback and can surf the web aside from being a pretty nifty ebook reader. It has 256MB of RAM and a 2GB flash storage plus a SDHC card slot that supports up to 32GB. You can also connect via WiFi and a 3G network. There’s a possibility that it could also be used as a phone since the specs suggests that you can send text messages.

It looks like an MP3 player but is actually a pretty decent tablet. Unfortunately, I don’t think they’ll be releasing it to the rest of the world.
