Samsung’s Designer NC10
In the spirit of the highly expensive and very pink HP Vivenne Tam edition, Samsung launched their own line of designer netbooks. Like the Vivienne Tam which is a standard HP Mini 1140NR with a designer chassis, the designer Agnes B. Edition NC10 is a standard Samsung NC10 with a lizard designed on the lid. While I’d love to think of it as a stylish, tribal marking, it also reminds me of a pair of Bermuda shorts.

Another design is also available, this time from John Lewis, a UK retailer, this time with a floral pattern on the lid, and sells for £329.
Both netbooks sport the same NC10 features of 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, 1GB of RAM, and a 160GB hard drive, with a 6-cell battery that can last up to six hours. Samsung has also released the NC10 with WiMax. You might also want to check out the Samsung N110 before taking your pick. It’s a newer, better version, and as Liliputing has reported, it’s what the NC10s are being phased out for in the US.
