Samsung N310 makes waves with its cool videos
With new netbooks coming out every week, Samsung’s been doing some interesting things to make it’s N310 (or NC310) netbook stand out. Earlier this month, we were impressed by the N310 keyboard which was designed to kills germs. We’re now impressed by this cool claymation/hologram video showing off the N310 chasis:
Not really sure what’s going on here, they’re probably trying to position the N310 as a fun trendy netbook by emphasizing how cool it looks with the colorful shells. Either way, the video definitely intrigued us!

While it’s a great looking netbook, the N310 is barely worth the steep price tag of £399 or $630. The price stands in stark contrast to the NC10 available at $400 at Amazon. The NC10 comes with very similar features, and ships with a 6 cell battery as opposed to the 4 cell battery the N310 is equipped with.
Bottom line: Currently available only in the UK, I’m hoping Samsung decides to reduce the price by the time the netbook becomes available elsewhere. After all, the N310 is beautiful, but not beautiful enough to shell out an additional $200 for.
