Samsung N310 Debuts in the US through Best Buy
The (medical) technologically-advanced Samsung N310 is finally available in the States through Best Buy, which, as far as we know, is the first to carry the Japanese-designed 10.1″-screened netbook.
The Samsung N310 is priced at $479.99 at Best Buy which is a bit pricier than your average netbook. Samsung claims that its 6-cell batt can run for up to 11 whopping hours unplugged. If that’s the case, then the extra $100 that you’d have to cough up to get yourself one of these would be more than worth it. Currently, it’s only available in blue.

If you remember, the N310 has been advertised as “bacteria free”, thanks to its germ-killing, bulkier, unique-looking chassis with a rubberized outer casing that looks like it could withstand a hurricane, or at least the inside of your bag without protection.
It has been available for about a month at the Amazon UK site, now selling for a lower price of £375.97. The UK version comes with a lower capacity 4-cell lithium-ion battery, instead of the 6-cell batt of its US counterpart.
Here are the technical specs:
1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU 1GB of RAM 160GB hard drive 10.1″, 1024 x 600 pixel display 1.3 megapixel camera 802.11b/g WiFi, optional Bluetooth 3-in-1 MMC reader 3 x USB 2.0 Windows XP
