Samsung N140 Launch in November, $399 with Windows 7

The Samsung N130 and N140 have been out in a lot of countries but not in the US. Liliputing has reported that the US launch is actually in November, after Windows 7’s release so that they can be shipped with Windows 7 Starter Edition, and will sell for $399.
Samsung is phasing out its first netbook attempt, the Samsung NC10, which, IMO, is one of the best netbooks released. The N140 is almost identical to the NC10 anyway, but with an improved exterior and maybe some added goodies that Samsung could think of before the release date. The N140 has a glossy lid and a non-glossy display (yay for those who dislike glossy screens). The keypad has also been improved and the keyboard is a bit bigger than the NC10’s 93%.
Technical specs are:
* 10.1” 1024 x 600 Display, 945GSE chipset + GMA 950 graphics
* 1GB RAM
* 160GB HDD
* 802.11b/g/n WiFi
* 0.3MP Webcam
* 3x USB, VGA out, Card Reader
In other news, looks like the 11.6″ Samsung N510 with NVIDIA ION graphics will also launch in early November. I can’t wait for Windows 7 to be officially official. That way all the newest, coolest netbooks would also get released.
