Samsung Galaxy Tab Goes Official
The Samsung Galaxy Tab can’t get more officially official than this. Samsung finally unvelied the 7″ Android tablet at a Berlin press conference, and while there is no word on pricing, they have slated it for a September shipping date in Europe, with Korea, the US, and the rest of Asia to follow suit.
The Galaxy Tab will actually be an oversized smartphone. You’d be able to use it for calls and send text messages, which means that it definitely can sit there next to the iPhone 4. It, of course, has access to the Android Market, as well as Samsung’s very own Samsung Readers Hub for eBooks, magazines and newspapers.
