Samsung Announces 4G, LTE-enabled N150, N210 and N220 netbooks
At Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Samsung announced that they would launch new, LTE-capable versions of their Samsung N150, N210 and N220 mini-laptops thereby spiffying up their 4G lineup.
Samsung has been releasing 4G netbooks but before now, they were only compatible with WiMax. This time, Samsung will be arming their netbooks with the company’s Kalmia LTE modem chipset, along with the usual specs for the netbooks.
We can expect a 10.1″ machine with a WSVGA (1024 x 600) screen (touchscreen for the NB30), Windows-powered machine (Windows 7 Starter, Home Basic or XP), and a Pinetrail Intel Atom N450 processor, 1GB Ram, 160GB/250GB HDD, and Intel GMA3150 graphics.
You can get the Samsung N150 (black) for $339.00 from Amazon, or check out other colors from here. Read our review from here.
The Samsung N210 is available from Best Buy for $379.99.
There’s no word as to how much a 4G netbook would cost in the US but you’d probably be able to pick one up at a subsidized price as it would be more than likely that they’d be offered up to go with a contract from a wireless provider.
