I’m on the lookout for some interesting earbuds or headphones. My iPod’s earbuds had long given up on me and while I wanted to get myself a new pair, I wanted to look at other options.

The Panasonic SLIMZ In-Ear earbud headphones look interesting enough, as well as having gotten good reviews on Amazon. And while I tend to use Sony more, Panasonic is a good brand too.

These earbuds are said to be comfortable to wear which is one of my considerations when getting a new pair of earbuds. It comes with three sizes of rubber plugs so you can find your exact size and not worry about having them fall off. Personally, the iPod’s earbuds are a perfect fit for my ears.

Also, I always have second thoughts about getting earbuds because they tend to sound tinny. Reviews of this product are generally positive about how good it sounds.

One of my life’s motto is that there’s no such thing as too much memory. While I’d love to get a memory stick with 1TB, the 8GB Kingston Technology HyperX Blu DDR3 Desktop Memory is okay in a pinch for your laptop. Especially since it’s down to $29.99 from it’s original list price of $99.99.

Hey, you there’s no such thing as too much extra memory, right? You can also get one for 64GB for $161.20 $119.91.

I find the rubber-coated housing interesting. Definitely makes it rugged and sturdier, and more “manly” so it’s a great gift for that geek in your life. But I’m telling you, I don’t mind getting one too. Back-up memory is always welcome.

I remember reading that you shouldn’t give your wife a gift that needed to be plugged into a power source. A food processor, a blender, washing machine? While I don’t think I’d appreciate a kitchen appliance, I actually like gadgets. I signed up for this postcard swapping website and I love posting my postcards online (on my Facebook and my personal blog), and I tried taking pictures of them but I’m just satisfied with the pics, so I did get myself this huge Canon scanner, the Canon CanoScan LiDE110 Color Image Scanner ($51.99), but while it’s lighter than my laptop, it’s a little too big.
