Fujitsu is adding to two 12.1″ laptops and a 13.3″ convertible tablet to their line of Lifebook machines. The new models will feature “the 2nd generation of Intel Core Processor Family”. Aside from that, we know little about the new devices. The Fujitsu Lifebook P701 and P771 are both 12.1″ devices, while the convertible table PC is called the Lifebook T901. The machines are expected to ship in March to Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

On other news, the company has also introduced a 10.1″ Windows 7 tablet which packs an Intel Atom Oak Trail Z670 processor under the hood. It will also have 2GB of RAM and a removable battery with 2- or 4-cell options. This one has an estimated release date at Q2 of the year.

Aside from the machines noted above, Fujitsu is also planning to release an Android tablet later this year when Google Honeycomb is released.

Fujitsu seems to be on a roll if only based on the news of products that are coming out from the company. The latest announcement is for its latest 10″ netbook, the Fujitsu LifeBook T580. Now before you move along and dismiss it as so yesterday just because it’s not a tablet, you might want to check out why this netbook would stand out.

For one, it has a multitouch, resistive touchscreen display (up to four fingers) and a swivel that allows you to use it as a tablet. For another, it can come with an Intel Core i% CPU, with 3G and GPS options, and runs Windows 7 Professional. There’s also this nifty little thing called Ambient Light sensor which automatically adjusts the screen brightness. Battery life is also said to be a solid 8 hours.

Aimed at the business netbook users, I don’t expect for it to come cheap. It has a lot of heavy duty specs, plus the fact that Toshiba isn’t exactly known to make budget products. No word as to how much we can expect this little thing to cost, but word on a late November release date is floating about.
