The Dell now has a “Performance Plus” package which offers the usual Dell Mini 10 goodness plus extra features such as a Broadcom Crystal HD card, a 10.1″ 1366 x 768 display, 250GB HDD, a 56WHr 6-cell battery, Windows 7 Starter and SRS audio.

Sometime ago, we wrote that Dell may be cooking up a WiMax-enabled Dell netbook. It’s now a go as Dell announced the new Pinetrail, WiMax-enabled Dell Mini 10, and you can configure your netbook from Dell. The upgrade from a b/g WiFi card to a 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and WiMax costs $60.
