The Dell Mini 10 is different from the Mini 10v. Read the Mini 10v here. Read about the differences here.

Black Friday, Christmas time – it’s shopping season. You’ll be seeing quite some offers on the Dell Mini 10. Read up on the netbook to make sure you’ve made the best choice.

Coming from Dell, you can be assured that the Mini 10 is a high quality netbook. Shopping at the Dell online store will also ensure your netbook is best customized to your needs. You’ll find, however, that this netbook can become quite expensive when you’re done adding all the essentials – Windows 7 and a six cell battery. True Dell offers the best Design Studio lids, but this netbook is best suited to those with large budgets.

*Amazon searches can turn up with some pretty sweet deals for about $400 – $100 less than Dell.com.

Dell Inspiron mini 10 Netbook - Ice Blue

Dell Mini 10 Features

  • Mobile Broadband - Built in GPS. Very handy, saves cost on buying a data card and means you won’t have to waste battery life powering a data card.
  • TV Tuner – and HD resolution of 1368×766 and HDMI port to connect the netbook to a TV/projecter

Drawbacks

  • Pricey - Not the best value for money with this one. Great build – but the Asus 1005HA ($381) and the Toshiba NB205 ($350) both run on Windows 7 and offer better battery lives for far less. Hell, you even get the 12″ HP Mini 311 for $400 and it comes with XP and nVidia Ion!
