Privacy Filters for your 10.1″ netbook

Hey guys! See what I found on Lilliputing3M privacy filters that come in the size of your 10.1/10.2″ netbook! :) Seriously though – this is a great accessory for you to consider if you use your netbook as intended – to draft out emails in coffee shops and finalize business deals when you’re on the Acela from Boston to New York.

Before you scoff about spending $30 on the filter, go check out the 3M website. You’ll be so impressed with their virtual demo – you might just want to buy this filter because of how cool it would be to play with! And come on, it comes in both black and gold! And the gold filter claims to brighten and  sharpen the content on your screen. This has to be the most fun -yet- useful product ever.

In fact, if you find yourself in one of the below situations, you should probably get one.

  • You’re at the coffee shop, gchatting with a friend when someone next to you is being ridiculously obnoxious. You start telling your friend about it and the person happens to glance over and see what you’ve said. Uh oh…
  • Same situation as above but in a class room or meeting . What, you don’t use your netbooks at times like that?? ;)
  • You’re on a plane and doing something inappropriate on your netbook filling out your tax returns and don’t want anyone to see you social security number.
  • You’re shopping online/paying bills and need to insert your credit card number and don’t want anyone around you to see it
  • You’re working on confidential business memos in an airport/train lounge.

Well? Go check them out.
