Pine Trail Asus Eee PC 1001P Now Available for Pre-Order

The new Asus Eee PC 1001P, one of the Pine Trail netbooks from Asus, is up for pre-order from Amazon.com.

You can choose between the two available models. One is priced at $339.99, and it comes with 250GB SATA Hard Drive, Bluetooth and Windows 7 Starter. The other model, priced at $299.99, comes with 160GB HDD and Windows XP Home.

Both models have the new Intel Atom N450 processor.

Technical specs that both models share are:

  • 10.1” 1024 x 600 display
  • Atom N450 processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • 0.3MP Webcam
  • 802.11b/g Wi-Fi
  • 6-cell battery (11 hours)

It will come in black, blue, white and pink.
