OCZ Neutrino Netbook – OCZ’s Customizable, Upgradeable Neutrino Netbooks

OCZ technology just announced at CeBIT 2009 that they would be entering the netbook market in early May with the Neutrino netbook. OCZ already sell DIY 15″ and 17″ notebooks, and they’re expanding to netbooks with similar products.
Neutrino Netbook Details
The neutrino would be available in two models -
- There will be a DIY (do it yourself) model where users can pick their memory and hard drive themselves.
- There will also be a standard model.
Here are the main features -
- 10.1-inch screen with 1,024 x 600 resolution LCD.
- Weighs 2.86 pound.
- Intel Atom CPU.
- Up to 2GB of RAM.
- In a unique first, they’ll offer an optional 250GB OCZ SSD. Or even let you add on 2 250 GB non-SSD Hard Disk drives.
- A 4-cell (2,200mAh) battery. This is on the weak side.
- Windows XP or Ubuntu.
- It measures 263mm x 185mm x 19.6-27mm (W x D x H).
- Intel 945GSE powered motherboard.
Neutrino Netbook Ratings
Its too early to rating the Neutrino so I’m going to hold off on ratings.
