Nokia Booklet 3G for Pre-Order in Italy for $1000
Nokia’s Booklet 3G is up for pre-order on Nokia’s Italian webstore, and unlocked and SIM-free, it’s €699, $1020 US more or less. Yikes! Just… yikes. Initial prices have been listed at an already high $800 without subsidy, and there it is.
Price would most likely adjust once the booklet reaches US shores, plus the telecoms would also most likely add in their two cents with subsidies and service plans (if, telecoms would actually offer subsidies and service plans). If you’re in Italy though, you can order yours today.
While there are blue and silver versions, only the black ones are up for pre-order. And since it will come with Windows 7, shipping would probably start after October 22 when the OS is finally released.
It will have a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530, 1 GB DDR2, 20 GB storage, 10.1”, 1280×720 pixel display, with a 12 hour battery. More specs here.
