News Round-Up: Lenovo U Series, IdeaPad S10-2 and IdeaPad S12

Get Set for the 11.6″ Lenovo IdeaPad U150. According to Lenovo’s Twitter, the company is set to announce their 11.6″ Lenovo IdeaPad U150 tomorrow on a global podcast. Apparently, it’s already available in Japan. They already have the product page for the U Series although there’s no actual product page up yet for the U150.

What they have for the 11-incher is an “efficient ULV processor, DDR3 memory, Dolby audio, HDMI port, stereo speakers and APS hard drive protection in the event of accidental drop” and that it’s “under 3 lbs. and 0.75″ thin with smart features and surprisingly affordable”.

In other Lenovo News, the Lenovo IdeaPad S10-2 with Windows 7 Starter (in Floral Sea) is already up and available from Amazon.com, priced at $350. It has an Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD and a 6-cell battery.

Also, customization is up for the Lenovo IdeaPad S12 where you can choose to get an ION-powered 12-incher on the Lenovo US site. You can get a Lenovo S12 with a 12.1” 1280 x 800 display, Atom N270, 2GB RAM and 250GB HDD, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 6-Cell Battery, Windows 7 Home Premium and NVidia ION graphics.

The customizable Lenovo IdeaPad S12 is available in black and priced from $599.
