New Sony Vaio P Now Official

The new Sony Vaio (which is just an updated Sony Vaio P) has been announced in the US, Europe and Japan. It looks really good, actually and comes in bright, bright colors.
Technical Specs are as follows:

- Intel Atom Z530 / Z540 / Z550 / Z560 processors (1.33GHz – 2.13GHz)
- Intel GMA 500 graphics
- Windows 7 Home Premium OR Windows 7 Professional (32-bit)

- 64GB / 128GB / 256GB SSD
- 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, 3G, WiMAX, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Accelerometer, GPS, Digital Compass
- 5 hours battery life OR 10 hours with extended battery (BPL23)
Yes, you get the choose the processor on your new Vaio, and choices run through the whole spectrum of the Intel Atom Z from the Z530 to the Z560 which clocks in at 2.13GHz. It has a trackpad on the rigth screen bezel and buttons on the other hand. They’ve also added an accelerometer which allows you to go back or forward on the screen by gently shaking the device, and also use the Vaio in portrait mode. Also, with the PS3 Remote Play, you can access your PS3 content and program through your Vaio P so long as you’re running v3.30 firmware.
Shipping is expected to start in June for the US, earlier for Japan (May 22). While prices in the US has yet to be announced, and you can expect it to be really expensive, Japanese prices range from ¥79,800 ($861) to ¥158,300 ($1,708). It will come in orange, green, pink, black and white.
