Netbooks Comparison: Subsidized vs Non-subsidized Netbooks

I guess my article on what you should look into if you want to get a wireless service was timely. Laptopmag’s K.T. Bradford made this really helpful chart comparing the different netbooks being offered by US wireless carriers.

I thought it would be a very helpful resource for you if you want to get a netbook through AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint. Best Buy is also offering netbooks that are subsidized by the three carriers.

You need to fork out about $60 per month (for the 5GB service) for the next two years to get the netbook at discount prices. The list below is how much the netbook costs with a contract, how much the total cost is with the service, and how much it costs from Amazon.

Please note that the Amazon netbooks may not have the exact configuration of the netbooks offered by carriers.
