Netbooks Around the World: MSI Wind U160, Eee PC 1005PE-H, DosParas Notebooks
MSI Wind U160 in Taiwan
The MSI Wind U160 has been officially launched in Taiwan, with a 15 hour battery (at least, that’s what MSI claims), the loftiest, battery life claim so far, topping the Asus Eee PC 1005PE’s claim by 1 hour. Again, subtract 2 hours more or less, and we can expect it to run for 13 hours at most. I’m betting 10 to 12 hours.
Technical Specifications are as follows:
- 10.1” 1024 x 600 Display
- GMA 3150 graphics
- Intel Atom N450 processor
- 160GB HDD 2.5” SATA
- 1GB RAM (2 max)
- 3-Cell or 6-Cell Battery
- 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth V2.0 + EDR, Optional 3.5G mobile broadband
- Microsoft Windows 7 Starter
- Available in Fancy Gold or Jet Black colors
