Gateway VR46 series Valentino Rossi

I love the look of Gateway’s VR46 series netbook for motorcycle racing legend, Valentino Rossi, with its sun and moon motiff. It’s been out and about in Europe, and has recently launched in Australia for $1,200 AUD.

Here are the technical specs:

  • 11.6” 1366 x 768 display
  • Intel Pentium SU4100 processor
  • Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics
  • 4GB RAM DDR3 (8GB max)
  • 500GB HDD
  • Gigabit LAN, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR
  • 6-cell battery (8 hours)
  • Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
  • 1.4kg / 22.1mm thick

I think I’d get it for the lid’s design alone. Although the specs look really good and tempting. Check out the promotional video after the break.

    I liked the fact it was a Rossi endorsed product with great graphics and specs I bought one.Very classy,well put together piece oF kit-if only it had 3G it would be perfect.Love the cloth attache bag they include-nice touch.windows 7 64 bit,4G RAM,500GB HD.
