Netbooks Around the World: European Asus Eee PC 1008P-KR Comes with 2x Batteries

I kinda feel short-changed. Did you know that the Asus Eee PC 1008P-KR is shipping with 2 batteries in Italy and France?
The 1008P-KR is one of Asus’ new Pinetrail netbooks which is similar to the 1008HA except the betteries are removable. Battery life is set at 6 hours, but since you get another battery (if you’re lucky enough to be a European buyer), then that’s double. Okay, so maybe 10 hours for two batteries.
I checked Amazon, and Asus Eee PC 1008P-KR, also known as Karim Rashid Edition, comes with only one 6-cell Polymer Battery. It is now currently in stock and is priced at $493.87.
