Acer Review, Asus Review – Netbook 10

Acer Aspire 1825PTZ Tablet
The Acer Aspire 1825PTZ Tablet has made its appearance in Germany through Amazon.de where it is currenly in stock and shipping. It has a pricey €599 price tag but you get the following specs:

• 11.6″ capacitive multitouch screen
• 1.3GHz dual core Pentium SU4100 processor
• 4GB of RAM
• 320GB hard drive
• Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11b/g/n WiFi
• 6 cell, 5600mAh battery
• Windows 7 Home Premium

The Pentium processor is definitely not the most powerful, but it’s definitely a better performer than the Intel Atom that comes with most netbooks so the 1825PTZ should run better than the other Intel Atom-powered tablets.

Asus Eee PC R101, R101PX
There has been news of the new Asus Eee PC R101 and R105 since support pages for the new models have popped up on the Asus site, and the R101 has made it to Amazon Germany along with the R101PX variant.

Here are the specs for the ASUS Eee PC R101:

• 10.1” display
• GMA 3150 graphics
• Intel Atom N450 processor
• 1GB RAM
• 160GB HDD
• Windows XP Home

And the specs for the ASUS Eee PC R101PX are as follows:

• 10.1” display
• GMA 3150 graphics
• Intel Atom N450 processor
• 1GB RAM
• 250GB HDD
• Windows 7 Starter

The lower end R101 variant is available for €249, while the R101PX is a little more expensive at €299.

We’re going to have to wait for news as to when they would hit the U.S. and how much these netbooks would be if and when they do.
