Netbook Cooling Dock – under $30!
If you’ve used your netbook for as long as they stay alive – anywhere between 2 hours to 10+ hours, you’ve probably noticed they become quite warm after a while. And if you’re notorious about using your netbook for long periods of time at a stretch (and as your primary device) you might be concerned about over-heating your hard drive.
That’s why Choiix’s Cooler Master Air-Through Stash (geez, a mouthful) is the perfect accessory for you. The cooling pad allows the heat to dissipate, and as a by-product you get more silent performance. The dock even contains slots for additional storage (both HDD & SDD), and has 3 additional USB ports around the back. The dock can be charged through one of the netbook’s USB ports.
While it defeats the purpose of traveling light, the cooling dock is nonetheless something worth thinking about. Especially since the Cooler Master is selling for a mere $30 at Amazon.
