MSI Wind U250 Goes Official
Posted on June 24th, 2010 by Denise
The MSI Wind U250 has been officially announced in Taiwan. It’s known to be powered by AMD’s Nile ultrathin notebook platform. It pretty much looks like older 12″ Wind notebooks but there’s a pattern on the chassis and palm rest.
Technical Specifications:
- AMD Geneva (Platform: Nile) Dual core Processor
- DDR3, 2 SO-DIMM slots, Max: 8GB
- 12.1” 1366 x 768 HD Ready
- ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4225
- 2.5″ 250GB/320GB/500GB SATA
- Windows 7 Home Premium
- 5.5 hrs battery life
The U250 has shown up with a dual-core AMD Athlon II Neo K325 processor (1.3GHz) so it could be that. We’re not ruling out other higher end processors though as MSI noted down on the product page that the specs could still change. Stay tuned for pricing and availabilty details.
