MSI Wind U210 Up for Pre-order from Amazon
Haven’t really heard official word about the MSI Wind U210 netbook, but lo and behold! It’s up for pre-order on Amazon.com. Hmmm.
It’s actually quite impressive really. I haven’t netbook specs as different from the ordinary as the U210′s. The MSI Wind U210 is pretty much a more powerful MSI Wind U200 with an Athlon Neo MV-40 processor instead of the usual Intel Atom, and an AMD Radeon X1250 graphics with HDMI output on a 12.1″ screen. I almost didn’t classify it as a netbook because of the specs if not for the Amazon product description: “MSI U210-006US 12.1-Inch Black/White Netbook”.
Technical Specifications via Amazon:
Athlon Neo MV-40 1.6 GHz Processor, Chipset AMD RS690 + SB600 2GB 200-Pin DDR SO-DIMM RAM 250GB SATA Hard Drive WLAN 802.11b/g/n, 1 x HDMI Port 3 x USB 2.0 Windows Vista Home Premium 6 Cell Battery (5200mAh) 5 hours LCD Type 12.1″ HD WXGA 16:9, LCD Resolution 1366×768, VGA, AMD Radeon X1250 Size (LWH): 7.4 inches, 11.69 inches, 1.2 inches Weight: 3.2 pounds
It’s available for pre-order in black or white from Amazon.com for $429.99 each.
