MSI Wind U160 Available for Pre-Order at Amazon, $380

The MSI Wind U160 may be one of the first few Pinetrail Atoom netbooks announced, but it is also one of the last to become available. But as they say, better late than never, right?
It has been officially launched in Taiwan last week, and has now popped up at Amazon.com for pre-order.
The U160 is available in two colors, brown/gold and black. Both are priced at $379.99.
Both variants share the same Technical Details.
- 1.66GHz Intel N450 Atom Processor
- 1GB DDR2 667 Mhz SO-DIMM RAM (1 Slot) upgradable to 2 GB MAX
- 250GB 2.5-Inch SATA Hard Drive
- Wireless 802.11 b/g/n, 4-1 Card Read (XD/SD/MMC/ MS)
- 10″ 1024×600 LCD Display
- 1.3MP Webcam; Bluetooth
- Window 7 Starter; 6 Cell Battery (15 Hours of Battery Life)
There’s no word on when they will have it in stock so stay tuned for the release date.
