MSI Wind U150 Confirmed, Touchscreen, Intel Pine Trail Atom

Looks like MSI will also jump into the touchscreen netbooks bandwagon with their MSI Wind U150, and guess what, it won’t be running on an Intel Atom processor but on the next gen Pine Trail Atom.
While MSI has announced that the new chipset will be launced at CES coming up in September, Intel is still quibbling about the when on the launch of the Pine Trail. They’re saying that they’re pretty sure that it will start shipping products before the end of the year, with MSI wanting to be the first to plug them into netbooks which includes the 10″, Windows 7-based convertible U150. The latest and greatest (so far) convertible netbook/tablet is the Gigabyte TouchNote T1028.
Pine Trail is said to have better graphics performance and a better power consumption (at least 20% better) than the Intel Atoms.
MSI will also be releasing the MSI Wind U210, the 12″ netbook, in the US in early September.
