MSI U150 – a Windows 7-Pineview-touchscreen?

Black Friday just got over – Christmas shopping has just begun and ALREADY the market is abuzz with new netbooks that will make an appearance in January!  Included in this list is the Windows 7 running – Pineview bearing – MSI Wind MU150 – which may or may not be the same MSI Wind netbook expected to launch as a touchscreen netvertible.

No specs are out yet, but word is the MSI Wind U150 will make an appearance at CES 2010 (Jan 7  – 10), and that it will compete directly with the Asus T91MT convertible. Note: the U150 will be a 10″ netbook.

It will be interesting to see how the U150 runs with both Windows 7 and Pineview – especially in contrast to how the multitouch is working ont he Asus T91MT. It’ll also be interesting to see whether MSI will be successful in its goal to come out with the first Pineview-running-netbook. The Asus 1008P is already a contestant for this position.
