MSI Plans to Introduce MSI Wind U140 at Computex

MSI Wind U140MSI is planning to introduce the MSI Wind U140 at the Computex trade show in Taiwan next moth.

Here are the technical details as per MSI’s press release:

  • Intel Atom N450 processor
  • Extended battery life – MSI’s exclusive ECO engine
  • Received official certification from International WiMAX Forum
  • WiMAX high speed wireless transmission module optional
  • Weight 1.2kg (including 3-cell battery)

That’s not a lot of details yet, but we’ll know more when it becomes officially official.

Computex will happen on June 1st to the 5th at the Taipei World Trade Center. You’ll also get a look at the MSI X-Slim series as well as the MSI Wind U135.

The release said that the U135 will have a chicklet keyboard. Since both netbooks have virtually the same information written for them, except for the keyboard, does that mean the U140 does not have a chicklet keyboard?

Sorry. Sometimes, you really have to spell it out.
