More Acer Netbooks and Laptops Now Available in the US

There’s a whole lot of Acer netbooks and laptops going on sale or appearing for pre-order the last few days, and the list is actually getting longer, so good job Acer!

Here are a couple more that popped up.

Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T

The long-awaited Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T is finally up and shipping from Amazon. There should be two models but only the lower end model is currently available. The Core i3-330UM model has 3GB DDR3 RAM, and 320GB HDD, and sells for $599.99.

The higher end model with Core i5-430UM processor which sells for $699.99 will have 4GB DDR3 and 500GB HDD. It will start shipping in a month or two.

  • Intel HD graphics
  • 3GB or 4GB DDR3 RAM
  • 250GB or 500GB 5400RPM HDD

Acer Aspire AS1551

Another Acer Aspire notebook that’s up for pre-order is the Acer Aspire 1551 which has also made its appearance on Amazon. This is the higher end version of the Aspire One 721 with the same chassis but an upgraded dual core AMD processor. As with the TimelineX 1830T, this also has a higher end and a lower end model.

The lower end model, the Acer Aspire AS1551-4755 sells for $499.99 and has a a dual core AMD Athlon II Neo K325 processor, 3GB DDR3 RAM and 250GB HDD. The higher end, more expensive model, Acer Aspire AS1551-5448 is $549.99, and has a dual core AMD Athlon II Neo K625 processor (which is faster), 4GB DDR3 RAM and 320GB HDD.
