Microsoft Touch Pack for Windows 7 Now Available

The Microsoft Touch Pack for Windows 7 was launched to help showcase Windows 7′s touchscreen capabilities. They’ve only made it available to OEMs so you can’t install it yourself if your system did not come pre-loaded with it.

But Microsoft has recently released the Touch Pack as a free download for all Windows 7 machines that come with supported hardware, meaning a machine with a multitouch display (it only works on the primary screen, if you have a dual-screen machine) such as the Asus Eee PC T91MT or T101MT if they’re running on Windows 7 Home Premium or higher.

It includes 3 games, a photo organization app, an interactive globe, and a “surface lagoon” which sounds lika real cool screen saver and “interactive water simulation, complete with a meditative rock arrangement and playful, shy fish”. I have a similar app on the iPod Touch called Koi Pond. Really relaxing.
