Lenovo LePad Tablet Due by Year’s End

No, le news is no joke. Lenovo is coming up with their own version of le tablet called LePad which they will launch in China before anywhere else, even the US.
We’ve seen Lenovo show the IdeaPad U1 Hybrid which has a removable 10″ multitouch display that can be used as a tablet. It had a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and Linux Skylight which was developed by Lenovo particularly for the device. I guess with that, we can expect a similar concept for the LePad.
Sorry. I can’t get over the name. It sounds le French. But then, Lenovo doesn’t have much choice as Apple has conditioned us that tablets are to be “pads”. Despite the snickers and feminine product jokes.
The company is coming up with their first smartphone, which they’re calling… you got it, the LePhone.
