Lenovo IdeaPad U160 Now Available

You can now get your hands on the 11.6″ Lenovo IdeaPad U160 from Lenovo.com, but you might want to take heart medication before you take a look at the price.

There are two models available, the lower end IdeaPad U160 08945JU which has a base price of $1,049.00, and the IdeaPad U160 Laptop 089455U which is $1,149.00. Nope. Those commas and extra numerals ain’t typos.

The lower end model has a 1.06GHz Intel Core i5-520UM processor and 320GB HDD; the high end model comes with a i7-640UM Processor and 500 GB HDD.

These are the specs both model share:

  • Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HM55
  • 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM
  • 11.6″ HD Glare 1366×768
  • 6 Cell Lithium-Ion
  • Broadcom 11b/g Wi-Fi wireless, Bluetooth Version 2.1 + EDR
  • Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit

Both models come in Dark Brown, and ships “within 13 business days”.

    I checked the website for Lenovo PH and the only things listed there under the U-series are these. :)
