HP’s Compaq Airlife 100 is set to launch very soon as HP has taken care of its docs with the FCC as well as launched a web page for the smartbook with specs and software info.
As far as we know, the specs are as follows:
- 10.1″ 1024 x 600 pixel display (16-bit), backlit TFT with resistive touchscreen
- 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 processor
- 512MB of RAM, 512MB of Flash memory, with 16GB of solid state storage
- 28Whr battery
- Google Android
It also comes with interesting additions such as QuickOffice, RoadSync Exchange and (tentatively) Adobe Flash Lite. It will also support 3G and WiFi, and we can expect wireless carriers to have it available and subsidized soon after its release.
No word on launch date or pricing yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
