HP Mini 210 and the Mini 5103 Get Atom N550
Well here’s good netbook news.
HP’s latest netbook models, the HP Mini 210 and the Mini 5103 have been officially announced and officially having Intel Atom N550 dual-core processors. See! Not just tablets are coming out, people.
The Mini 210 looks brand-spankin’ slick with a new design, a chiclet keyboard and HP’s reliable trackpad. The battery is removable, and you can also get into your hard drive and RAM for a quick upgrade if you’re inclined to. It also comes with a Broadcom Crystal HD card.
The business netbook, Mini 5103 looks the same as the older Mini5102 except it has the new processor and a new color option (espresso), and an instant OS, the “Day Starter”. Sounds like something from Star Wars.
Price is at $330 for a single-core Mini 210 with a 6-cell battery. Add $75 for a dual-core processor. The Mini 5103 is $399 without the new processor, but we should be updated soon enough. Check out HP.com for more info.
