Acer Review, Asus Review – Netbook 10

Yup, Radio Shack is selling the 10.1″ LG X120 for only $50 as a special pre-holiday sale – it lasts until December 24. The catch? A 2 year contract why of course. This is interesting because only a few weeks ago in November, the LG X120 was selling for $180 with the 2 year contract from AT&T.

I found this in a post on BlastMagazine.com. There’s no pricing available on RadioShack.com – you’ll have to confirm the price at a store location (or try calling them).

Is it a good deal? Should you take it? At $50, it’s a cheap netbook! It’s also an old model, so yeah you’re saving $150-$200 on it probably. But you’re signing on a two year contract that’s worth so much more. I recommend you shell out some more money now and buy a better Windows 7 netbook.

Unless you just want a cheap second netbook for very basic computing and a constant internet connection. Then it’s perfect :P
