Hercules Launches 10” eCafe EC-1000W Netbook with Windows 7

New netbooks coming out are already shipping with Windows 7 Starter edition, including the new Hercules eCafe 10″ EC-1000W netbook. The company have a line of netbooks that look a whole lot like 8″ and 9″ inch Asus Eee PCs.
Other specs remain the same, i.e. standard:
Intel Atom N270 processor 160GB HDD 1GB RAM 10.1″ 1024 x 600 res screen VGA out, 3xUSB, audio jacks 6-cell 4400 mAh battery
The lid looks pretty, like a designer netbook, and the chiclet keyboard is 88% standard-sized. It doesn’t really have a lot going for it compared to other netbooks, especially if placed beside the new Samsung N140 that was announced today. The eCafe is priced at €349, the same as the N140, without the N280 processor and Bluetooth.
There are a few nifty additions though, like an online email account, a WiFi tracking service and an eCAFE Webcam Station, or something to that effect, to chat online.
