First Impressions on the Nokia Booklet 3G

Nokia Booklet 3Gs

Mark Guim of the Nokia Blog was able to play with the new Nokia Booklt 3G at Nokia World and here are his impressions:

* feels and looks like a lighter, smaller version of Apple Macbook
* keyboard and battery also feel like a Macbook
* can tilt the display backwards
* some performance issues (1GB RAM, not expandable, and units still not running on final firmware)

Based on his pics, the Booklet really is thin, and looks very light. Physical dimensions are 10.4″ x 7.3″ x 0.8″, and weighs 2.75 lbs., with an aluminum chassis.

No word on screen res and other specifics yet, but word is that it will have an HD ready display, run on Intel Atom Z530, with 120GB HD, and 3G / HSDPA and WiFi connectivity, plus integrated Bluetooth for local wireless communication. Battery life is said to be 12 hours. Price is also at €575.

Stay tuned for more.
