Entourage Edge eBook Reader Available for Pre-Order, $500
Engadget reports that the release of the Entourage Edge eBook reader/tablet/netbook which was showed of at CES has been pushed back to March, instead of this month.
It’s a dual screen netbook/ebook reader where one screen is a black-and-white, low-power e-Ink diplay and the other is a full color screen. It runs on Google android. It’s kinda cool that you can drag images from one screen to the other, and you can even use a stylus to mark the e-Ink display just like you would on a real book.
It looks much like a netbook, thicker than your average eBook reader, but then again, it’s not “just” an eBook reader. It also has netbook functionality such as WiFi, email, audio/video record and playback, etc.
Price has also increased from $490 to $499 for the Midnight Blue variant. For an additional $40, you can get one in Piano Black, Ruby Red, Glacier White or Ice Blue.
The Entourage Edge is available for pre-order from here.
